The Red Car Theory: How I Transformed Business Obstacles into Million-Dollar Opportunities

Yo!!

These last couple of weeks have been a great time for to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Yea yea, you’ve probably heard that before. Everyone talks about it but once it happens its a whole different ball game.

So over the last couple of weeks a lot has happened, Like I mentioned in my previous posts my one safety net client and I parted ways and another one I have just hit a low point in performance.

Honestly, that was my own fault. Things were going FANTASTIC before and since its a small account I just let it go on cruise control and by the time I realized things weren’t good, it was already TOO late. I was so focused in other things I just didn’t give it any priority when I should have.

Things are looking MUCH better but I still feel like I’m not out of the woodworks yet, especially in the eyes of the owner who’s the one who signs the check for us to work together. I actually have a call with him this week, so I’ll update you guys on what happens.

It could go either way, I know they need me but it was a ROYAL fuck up so I wouldn’t be surprised if we parted ways.

Now losing this one would REALLY hurt, financially speaking I’m going to really feel it if I do. I use a % of that income to pay for Copy Accelerator, which is 30k a year. Would I be able to pay for it still if I lost this, yes of course.

I still have other sources of income that could cover that with ease, but losing the full amount would definitely be noticeable.

Since the mess up happened, I realized I needed to take a step back and see anything else I could be doing wrong or not my best at. But also look at how else I can react to me losing that deal in the event that happens.

First thing, it’s YET another reminder to get to WORK to make sure that I no longer have to depend on these contracts with other companies to make a living.

But most importantly, this can be used as a moment to shed some unwanted weight. Things you don’t need, relationships that could be costing you, things that could be taking up your time when you could spend it elsewhere.

So over the last week I cut

  • 1.5k in subscriptions I don’t need for my business to run.

  • Let go of one of my video editors that just wasnt performing as well as he should have

  • Rewrote an ENTIRE landing page for a product I am working on.

  • Started testing my 48 To Launch Offer on Tik Tok (looking promising)

  • Researched some products I want to launch a new supplement brand around (coming soon)

In moments like this, you can either freak out or just take a step back and see things from a different point of view. There’s opportunities for you EVERYWHERE, you just need to pay attention.

Super simple explanation in this video for you guys below

Let’s talk ADS!!

A little while ago I paid for this consultant, who’s an EXPERT media buyer. Scaled multiple offers for hundreds of millions, 2 successful exits etc.

I met him through a mastermind call and the thing that made me want to reach out to him and pay for an hour of his time, was because he detailed his strategy for facebook ads.

He basically hates video ads and ONLY uses statics, yes I thought he was crazy too when I heard it first. EVERYONE will tell you how videos just perform better, but more importantly you don’t have to hear it. It’s CLEARLY proven with solid data.

But you can’t ignore this because the guy has proven data that his method works, that’s when I knew I had to talk to this guy and that paying 1K for his time would be worth it.

I’ve been around HIGHLY successful marketers for years, but the MOST successful ones always tend to go AGAINST the grain and do something VERY unconventional.

Just like this guy, I can maybe count 2-3 others that I’ve met before that stand out. ALL of them have 9-Figure businesses, so they obviously know something most people don’t.

When I chatted with this guy he said his biggest focus is the copy, so his way of using the HOOK in his ads is to write it at the top of the copy section in the ad.

As you know the hook needs to be a show stopper, for example

  • "The days of working 80-hour weeks are over..."

Thats the hook I used for my 48 To Launch Offer

Then he told me to create an image that relates to how the person would feel or what the person would achieve once they buy your product.

Now you take that to our great friend ChatGPT and tell it to give you 5 ways you could create an image that shows the viewer what the hook is.

Here is the prompt I used for that

Template for Creating an Image for an Advertisement:

"Create an image for an advertisement using the following hook: '[Your Hook Here]'

Description:

  1. Primary Theme: [Primary Theme Here]

  2. Target Audience: [Target Audience Here]

  3. Color Scheme: [Color Scheme Here]

  4. Elements to Include:

    • [Element 1]

    • [Element 2]

    • [Element 3]

    • [Element 4]

  5. Text Integration: [Text Integration Details Here]

  6. Style: [Desired Style Here]

Objectives:

  • [Objective 1]

  • [Objective 2]

  • [Objective 3]

Additional Notes:

  • Avoid clutter; keep the design clean and impactful.

  • Emphasize the human element to create a connection with the audience."

Just copy and paste that prompt and fill it out to create your image. here is how mine looked and right below is what I got.

"Create an image for an advertisement using the following hook: "The days of working 80-hour weeks are over..."

Description:

  1. Primary Theme: Innovation and Growth

  2. Target Audience: Young professionals and tech enthusiasts

  3. Color Scheme: Vibrant and modern colors like electric blue, silver, and a touch of neon green

  4. Elements to Include:

    • Sleek, futuristic gadgets (smartphones, tablets, AR glasses)

    • Graphical upward arrows to symbolize growth

    • Young professionals actively engaging with these devices (diverse in ethnicity and gender)

    • A dynamic cityscape in the background, representing a busy, tech-savvy environment

  5. Text Integration: Subtle text overlay for the hook, ensuring it does not distract from the visuals

  6. Style: Digital art, with a focus on clarity, sharp details, and a futuristic vibe

Objectives:

  • Create a sense of excitement and possibility

  • Appeal to the desire for self-improvement through technology

  • Convey a professional yet approachable image

Additional Notes:

  • Avoid clutter; keep the design clean and impactful

  • Emphasize the human element to create a connection with the audience."

OK, now HERE is the best part.

Yes the image is cool and definitely eye catching, relatable to my offer and everything. BUT! I still think movement works much better.

So how do mix his strategy with mine?

I just had leonardo add some movement to it! THIS is what came out:

Now you can create the images that convey your message perfectly and make them into short gifs on leonardo.AI to make them EVEN more attention grabbing.

Use this to advertise your offer and let me know how it goes!!

That is it for this one!

Thanks for tuning in, I hope you guys got some good things out of what I’ve been able to create so far.

If you guys have anything specific you would like me to cover next time, just shoot me an email to [email protected] and I’ll be sure to get that done!

See you soon!
